When looking at the information gathered on how much time was spent in the branches by each animal, I can see that most time was spent on the ground by both animals.
See charts entitled ‘Time Spent in Branches’ evenings 1 and 2.

Male Observations - Evening Two

There was not a wide variety of behaviours observed from our male tonight.
‘Forsell’ was absent from my view for 60% of the evening.
The most observed behaviour was sleeping, this was for 30% of the time.
Only two other behaviours were recorded these were scanning stationary, and resting.

Female Observations - Evening Two

Quite a range of behaviours were observed from our female, ‘Fossa‘.
The highest percentage of time being spent as not seen (20%), followed closely by pacing (16.7%).
Sleeping, resting, and exploratory behaviours were all observed for the same percentage of time (13.3%).
Other behaviours displayed were:
Locomoting (10%), scanning stationary (6.7%), grooming and feeding were both observed for 3.3% of the time.
